Research Methods – Books for Insight

23 Nov

A lot of people tend to ask me where I get the information for my articles.  Typically I would say what I post is what I know based on research I’ve done for years, but today, based on a friend’s suggestion, I will be posting a list of books from which some of my sources come.  These are highly recommended for those who wish to delve deeper into what I have given a taste of here on ThornsOfTime and are certainly worth checking out.

Without further ado, here they are!

The Wars of the Roses

She-Wolves: The Women Who Ruled England Before Elizabeth

The Children of Henry VIII

The King’s Grave: The Discovery of Richard III’s Lost Burial Place and the Clues It Holds

Winter King: Henry VII and the Dawn of Tudor England

Royal Blood: Richard III and the Mystery of the Princes

The Life of Cesare Borgia

Right or Wrong, God Judge Me; The Writings of John Wilkes Booth

Lucrezia Borgia: Life, Love, and Death in Renaissance Italy

Dearest Friend: A Life of Abigail Adams

The Golden King: The World of Tutankhamun
